I’m Not Rockefeller: One Year Later

It has been one year since the release of our first study, “I’m Not Rockefeller”: 33 High Net Worth Philanthropists Discuss Their Approach to Giving, in September of 2008. Since its release, it has has been cited in the Hewlett Foundation report “The Nonprofit Marketplace: Bridging the Information Gap in Philanthropy”, and posted on multiple websites including Vanguard Charitable and the internal website for TD Bank Financial Group sales professionals, as well as featured in the Chronicle of Philanthropy. Most recently, it was cited in the Giving USA 2009 Annual Report  on Philanthropy in the Year 2008.” The co-authors of the study, Kathleen Noonan, former founding Associate Director of the Center, and now Managing/Policy Director of  PolicyLab in The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and Katherina Rosqueta, founding Executive Director of the Center, have also been accepted to submit an article for the Volume 2, Winter 2010 Issue of the newly established Foundation Review. We continue to experience a high level of interest in the report and its findings and would like to thank all who have read or shared our research. We welcome your comments.
