CHIP and SVP Philadelphia host Michael Nutter and Paul Shoemaker for event on rebuilding cities with equity

CHIP and Social Venture Partners Philadelphia (SVP Philadelphia), a collective giving network of engaged leaders committed to reducing poverty in the Philadelphia region, hosted Rebuilding Cities with Equity, a conversation on May 17 about building better and more engaged cities. Michael Nutter, former Mayor of Philadelphia, and Paul Shoemaker, founding president of Social Venture Partners International, shared insight into the traits of “rebuilders” – those who are able to drive lasting and equitable social change. The conversation was introduced by CHIP’s Kat Rosqueta and moderated by SVP Philadelphia’s Jen Gleason. You can learn more about solving big problems in Shoemaker’s book, Taking Charge of Change, which profiles 38 impact leaders including Nutter.
