Ana Kolendo began her career as an analyst at McKinsey & Co before becoming a research associate at Harvard Business School. While at the RGK Center at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin, she was the field researcher working on the cultural infrastructure project, which sought to examine the rationale for and the impact of the recent museum and performing arts building boom. This research served as the foundation for case studies and executive education curriculum that is now available as part of the Set in Stone project.
With Peter Frumkin, she is the co-author of a forthcoming book, Building for the Arts, which will be published in 2013 by the University of Chicago Press. Ana has a BA in English from Swarthmore College and an MFA in creative writing from Boston University.
